MAJOR PRODUUCT ANNOUNCEMENT

As we promised, in our letter sent to you in December, 2005, Ballast Star
is constantly striving to improve our product and make it more
effective. We are pleased to announce that, in response to customer
concerns regarding rim corrosion, we are introducing two new improvements
to the Citrastar product.
The first innovation is that Citrastar will have a new anti-corrosive component
added to it. We have taken advantage of the resources of one of the largest
water treatment and process technology companies in the country to come
up with a corrosion resistant additive for the aqueous portion of our product.
This will reduce the corrosive effects on the rim when it is submerged in
Citrustar. This product has been proven to work effectively to reduce the
corrosive effects of brines in closed systems. This product is added into
the Citrustar prior to delivery to your tank. It will not change the price
of the Citrastar product.
The second development is the addition of a second component to the Citrustar
ballasting product. This product is highly refined agricultural oil that
is pumped into the tire and floats at the surface of the Citrustar inside
the tire and rim. The liquid coats the rim and leaves a protective film
on it as it rotates. This is where most of the corrosive action takes place.
With this new, environmentally safe additive we will greatly reduce the
corrosive effects to the inside of the rim.
This agricultural oil is vegetable based and is freeze resistant to well
below zero. It has no adverse affect on the environment nor on the tire.
It is added in small quantities, typically one to two quarts depending on
the size of the tire. It will be provided to you in five gallon containers
which will service ten to twenty tractor tires. The product will add minimal
cost with maximum benefit.
We are confident that with the improvements in the product; namely the
inhibitor added to the Citrastar and the agricultural oil additive, that
we have made significant strides to reduce the concerns that you have expressed
about our product.
